HOBGOOD – Ridgecroft School won their first road match in the Tarheel Independent Conference here Thursday as they topped Hobgood Academy in straight sets by scores of 25-18, 25-20, and 25-18.
The Lady Rams had 14 kills in the match led by Tracy Hughes with seven, while Christiana Vaughan had two.
Reagan King, Sydney Lane, Mackenzie Brown and Kathryn Outlaw led the Lady Rams as they had 30 winners on service. King also chipped in with four aces while Outlaw had three aces.
Ridgecroft improves its record to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the TIC. Their next match is at Northeast Academy in Lasker today (Tuesday) at 5 p.m.
Ridgecroft also won the junior varsity match by scores of 25-12 and 25-18.
