Make it five straight.

Bethel Christian Academy defeated a pair of opponents at the end of last week to run their streak to five in a row.

The Eagles defeated Gramercy Christian School 61-54 Friday, a night after topping non-league opponent Terra Ceia Christian School by a count of 56-52.

Against Gramercy, Bethel took a 14-12 lead after one quarter and then dominated the second quarter, outscoring the home team 18-9 to take a 32-21 lead into the locker room. Gramercy came back in the third quarter to close the gap to 48-44, but Bethel pulled away in the fourth.

Kyle Freeman led the way for Bethel with 27 points, five assists and four steals. Shane Tripp posted a double-double with 19 points and 19 boards. He added six assists.

Daniel Feher also posted double-digit rebounds with 11 while adding four on the offensive end.

Zabian Palmer had five for the Eagles while Joseph Ginn contributed four points and Trey Hoggard two. Hoggard added six boards.

A day earlier, the Eagles defeated Terra Ceia 56-52.

Tripp led the offensive effort with 22 points. He completed the double-double with 10 rebounds. Freeman contributed 18 points and also had five steals and four assists.

Feher had six points and 12 rebounds. Hoggard added four points and two boards. Palmer, Ginn and Zack Bazemore rounded out the scoring with two each.

The Eagles are now 10-4 overall.
