HOBGOOD – Ridgecroft School collected its fifth soccer win of the season here Thursday.

The Lady Rams got a hat trick each from Miller Bryant and Hennie Larabee as they recorded an 8-1 victory over Hobgood Academy.

Bryant and Larabee each scored three goals with Bryant adding two assists and Larabee having one.

Senior Brice Harrison added a goal and an assist for the Rams while Mary-joe Harrell had a goal for Ridgecroft. Alex Riddick contributed one assist.

“I’m pleased with the way we played,” Ridgecroft Head Coach Aron Martin said. “We lost our shape at times, but we controlled the midfield.

The coach also said the contest would have been much closer if it had not been for the play of keeper Haley Rivera.

“She had three spectacular saves, including one on a breakaway,” Martin said.

Ridgecroft improved to 5-2 for the season with the victory.
