MERRY HILL – Ridgecroft School earned a second place finish in Tuesday’s Tarheel Independent Conference golf match.

The Rams scored 230 to finish second behind Hobgood Academy. The Raiders had a team total of 217.

Ridgecroft’s Virginia Lane, however, was the top individual performer, shooting a 43 to pace the field.

Bobby Edwards was second for the Rams with a 56 while Clay Barmer shot a 62. Andy Byrum was the fourth member of the Rams’ team and shot a 69.

The TIC will be back in action Tuesday at Valley Pine Country Club in Lasker.
