ASKEWVILLE – Kyle Freeman did it all.

The Bethel Christian Academy junior turned in a 28-point, nine rebound and eight assist performance Tuesday night – including scoring his 1,000th career point – as he led the Eagles to a 69-40 non-conference win over Terra Ceia Christian School.

The Eagles jumped out to a 20-7 advantage after one quarter and led 33-12 at the intermission as they cruised to victory number nine this season against only three losses.

In addition to Freeman’s excellent outing, Shane Tripp scored 24 points in the win and completed the double-double with 11 rebounds.

David Simmons and Adam Fairless scored six points each in the game and senior Marky Palmer added four points and four boards. Daniel Feher led the team with 12 rebounds.

The Eagles improve to 9-3 heading into tonight’s (Thursday) rematch with Calvary Baptist Church. Bethel defeated Calvary (10-2) 75-70 in the Eric Baggett Memorial Tournament.
