TERRA CEIA – Ridgecroft School rolled to a perfect 4-0 mark here Tuesday.
The Rams’ soccer team defeated Terra Ceia Christian School 11-0 to win their fourth straight in the early season.
Aaron Rock was the main catalyst for Ridgecroft’s scoring efforts as he provided four assists during the afternoon to go with a single goal.
Senior Michael Bryum led the scoring effort, recording a hat trick on the afternoon.
Drey Chrysostomou and Landon Larabee recorded two goals each for the Rams while Woody Lowe had his first career varsity goal. Adding to the Rams’ scoring efforts were Max Boone and Matthew Judge, each of whom had a single goal.
“We didn’t move the ball as fluently as I would have liked,” Rams’ Head Soccer Coach Aron Martin said. “It was not our best effort, but it was a good result.
“I’m pleased that we were able to get some of our inexperienced players a lot of playing time,” he added. “That’s always going to be beneficial down the road.”
The Rams will be back in action today (Thursday) when they host Pasquotank County High School at the Mike Bryant Soccer Field on Ridgecroft’s campus. Opening kick will be at 4:30 p.m.
