AHOSKIE — ‘Tis the season for ghosts, goblins and tons of fun.

The Town of Ahoskie will host its annual Halloween Festival from 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31 at the Town Gym, located on West Main Street.

The event is open to all ages and features traditional Halloween games, a haunted hay ride and concessions.

Trick-or-treating hours, for ages 12-and-under, in Ahoskie are scheduled from 6-8 p.m. on Monday. Ahoskie Police Chief Troy Fitzhugh reminds all trick-or-treaters to practice safety, watch out for traffic and only visit homes where the porch lights are on.
