TERRA CEIA – Lawrence Academy continued its rebuilding volleyball season here Tuesday.

The Lady Warriors suffered a three-set loss to Terra Ceia Christian School by a final of 26-24, 25-11 and 25-22.

Lawrence was led by Kim Northcott, who served 19-of-20 for the day. She added four aces, one kill and four digs during the afternoon. Hayden Thompson was 6-of-7 serving and had two kills, a block and an ace.

Holly McNair recorded two kills, one dig and an ace while Priscilla Lunsford had two aces and two digs.

The junior varsity Lady Warriors, however, pulled out a hard-fought three-set victory for Lawrence.

They defeated Terra Ceia 13-25, 25-19 and 26-24.

Chelsea Ginn had eight aces and eight kills for Lawrence while Sydney Brabble added five aces.

Giovanna Conigliaro had three aces and Olivia Hoggard rounded out the day with two aces and three kills.

The Lady Warriors are back in action today (Thursday) as they host Hobgood Academy. First serve is set for 4 p.m.
