MERRY HILL – Lawrence Academy suffered a three-set loss in non-conference action here Monday.

The Lady Warriors’ volleyball team fell to visiting Greenfield School 25-22, 25-9 and 25-18 during the outing.

Despite the loss, Lawrence had a pair of servers who were perfect on the afternoon. Hayden Thompson was good on 10-of-10 service points including three aces while Kim Northcott was a perfect 7-of-7 and added a single ace.

Thompson led the Lady Warriors with two kills while Jordyn Lyle added one.

In junior varsity action, Lawrence claimed its first win of the season when the jayvee Lady Warriors won 25-15 and 25-21.

Leading Lawrence were Clara Ward, who had nine points on her serve, and Taylor Wilson who had eight points. Chelsea Ginn led the team in kills.

The Lady Warriors improved to 1-5 for the season.
