AHOSKIE — Sign-up is currently under way for the Ahoskie Recreation Department Flag Football program.

The program is now open to boys and girls ages six to 10.

The program is part of the NFL Flag Football outreach which provides a fun opportunity to engage in non-contact continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork.

Games are slated to start October 9 and continue through November 13. They will be played at the Ahoskie Recreation Complex.

Sign-up is $25 per participant which includes an NFL reversible team jersey, flag belt and mouthpiece.

The deadline for sign-ups will be September 20.
