AHOSKIE – Treat yourself to an early Christmas present in the company of other “Beach Music” fans.

The Ahoskie Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Christmas dance from 8-11 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 at Beechwood Country Club (205 Country Club Road, Ahoskie). Tickets are $25 per person and sold only in advance until Dec. 2.

The event features KB & The Shifters, a local “Beach Music” group with the #1 single (“Call Me”) on CashBox, one of the oldest and respected song charts in the country. It covers Country, R&B, Rock and Roll, Top 40 and Beach Music.

KB & The Shifters are fresh off a performance in Myrtle Beach, SC at the annual CAMMY Awards where they were one of the five nominees for the Rising Star of the Year Award.

The price of admission also includes food prepared by L & W Catering. There will be a cash bar.
