GREENVILLE, NC – Jane Outland Desomma of Greenville NC, born in Ahoskie NC on July 8, 1949, went home to be with our Lord on Monday evening, April 14, 2018.

She was a member of Union Baptist Church and attended Bethel Baptist Church. She retired from the Brody School of Medicine and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Janet Outland, both of Hertford County. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Acuff of Oglethorpe GA, brother, Mike Outland of Gray GA, and a daughter, Susan Parker of Harrellsville NC.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Mark Desomma of Bethel NC; her daughter, Erica along with her husband Willis Campbell and granddaughter Coree Campbell, all of Chesapeake VA; her three grandsons, James Cannette and his two daughters Rylee and Kayleigh, and Seth and Jacob Parker; and her sisters, Rae Taylor of Menola NC, Kae Taylor of Menola NC, Johnnie Outland of Virginia, and Janet Leigh of Woodland NC.

A family gathering for both immediate and distant family will be held at the house of Rae and Steve Taylor of Menola, NC on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 1-4 p.m. Please contact her daughter Erica or sister Rae for questions.
