ROCKY MOUNT – James Cherry Sr., 68, a native of Hertford County, died July 1, 2013 at Life Care Hospital, Rocky Mount. Funeral services were held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Amanda S. Cherry Resource Center, Harrellsville. Burial was in the Cherry Family Cemetery. Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, handled the arrangements.
