Three face drug charges

JACKSON — Three men are facing drug charges after being arrested in separate incidences.

According to Sheriff Wardie Vincent, Deandre L. Miles of Garysburg, Tevon Moody of Roanoke Rapids and David Johnson of Woodland are facing drug charges.

On Saturday, deputies on routine patrol stopped Johnson. He was charged with driving while license revoke, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell and deliver and drug paraphernalia. He was place in Northampton County Jail on a $4,000 cash bond.

Also arrested the same day deputies stopped Moody. He was charged with driving while license revoked, maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance (marijuana) for purchase or sale and possession of marijuana. He was placed in the Northampton County Jail under a $1,500 bond.

Deputies also recently cited Miles after conducting a search warrant at a residence. He was cited for maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and simple possession of marijuana.
