AULANDER – Viola Hardy Grant of Aulander, NC departed this life on May 29, 2023 at her residence. A native of Hertford Co., NC she was born on October 2, 1922 to the late James F. Hardy and Helen Lewter Hardy.

She retired from Mylecraft Manufacturing Co as a supervisor.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Jennifer Grant of the home; one granddaughter, Tiffany Bowser (Timothy) of Aulander, NC; three great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Hunter’s Funeral Home Ahoskie is handling the arrangements and will host visitation from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Zion Grove Baptist Church, Aulander. Burial will follow at Cladie Ambrose Memorial Gardens.
