WINTON – Calvin Scott Hall Sr., 79 of Winton, died Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Autumn Care of Suffolk, VA.

He was a lifelong resident of Hertford County, NC and his life was dedicated to service to his family, country, and community. He was dearly loved and will be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Simmons Hall; his three children, Belinda Hall Blowe, Calvin Scott

Hall II, and Gordon Ray Hall; his two brothers, Kenneth Preston Hall, and Oliver Renaldo Sears; his sister, Rhonda Doreen Sears; his two grandchildren, Quintin McCoy Blowe and Caroline Sydney Hall; and his three great-grandchildren, Camira Grace Harrell, Caitlyn Hope Blowe, and Greysen Blowe.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Phillipi Baptist Church, Cofield. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
