TARBORO, NC – Leroy Parker, Jr., age 67, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital. He was born July 19, 1951 in Northampton County to the late LeRoy Parker, Sr. and Thelma Stephenson.
He leaves to cherish his memories, longtime companion, Elizabeth Harrell of Tarboro, NC; two sons, Maurice Parker of Bronx, NY, and Lamont Jones of Philadelphia, PA; three brothers, Rocky Parker of Murfreesboro, NC, Nicky Parker of Conway, NC, and Victor Parker of Seattle, WA; six sisters, Liddie Bell of Murfreesboro, NC, Lorraine Long of Newport

News, VA, Audrey Tynes of Smithfield, VA, Mary Harmon of Potecasi, NC, Darlene Hardy of Woodland, NC, and Renna Ebron of Murfreesboro, NC; six grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary Chapel in Tarboro, NC with Pastor Anthony Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Tarboro, NC.
A viewing will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary Chapel, 1800 Western Blvd., Tarboro, NC 27886 and from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Hertford County Undertakers, 416 South Main St, Winton, NC 27986.
