AHOSKIE, NC – Timmy Paul Edwards, Sr., age 58, passed away on April 13, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Edwards was born on October 29, 1959 to Norman Roberts Edwards and Gladys Atkinson Edwards Scott in Carthage, Mississippi. Timmy devoted his life to his work with molding and as a foreman for H T

Jones Lumber Co. for many years. He also enjoyed fishing, yard work and watching television. Timmy was happiest just being at home. He will be deeply missed by his family and loved ones.

Besides his father, Timmy was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Dietrich; and a daughter in law, Bailey Edwards.

Timmy is survived by his wife of 41 years, Vickie; his mother, Gladys Scott of Mississippi; his father’s wife and a mother to him, Helen Edwards of Mississippi; two sons, Timmy Edwards, Jr., and Matthew Cain Edwards with special friend Cheyanne Milteer; two grandsons, Dylan Paul Edwards, and Preston Kenneth Edwards, all of Ahoskie; and his sister, Shannon Frederick and husband Tommy of Mississippi.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will have a memorial service during this time at 7:00 pm at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC.
