Ron Hignite and Laurie Dilday, both of Ahoskie, announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Nicole Hignite, to David Lynn Oliver II, son of David and Rhonda Oliver of Ahoskie. The bride-to-be’s maternal grandparents are David and Marilyn Merritt of Greenville. Paternal grandparents are the late Len and Carol Hignite, formerly of Greenville. The groom-to-be’s maternal grandparents are Milton and Jean Malone of Aulander. Paternal grandparents are Frances Oliver of Greer, SC and the late J.W. Oliver. A wedding is planned for March 19 at Millennium Pentecostal Holiness Church in Aulander.
