WOODLAND – Robert Scott (Bob) Lewis died peacefully at his home in Woodland, NC on Monday, March 13, 2017.

He was born into a Navy family and grew up in Seattle, LA, Norfolk, Charleston and Guam. His adult life was spent mainly in North Carolina, which became his adopted home state. He especially loved the North Carolina mountains and enjoyed the time that he spent living there. He was a friend to all that he met and remained a true Wolf Pack fan to the end of his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Catharine Lewis. He is survived by a sister, Barbara Shepard, brother-in-law Phil, and a nephew, Chris.

There will be a private celebration of life service for his family and friends to be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Friends may pay respect by visiting the home of Anna Burgwyn, 203 East Main Street, Woodland, NC.
