Aaron B. Eure

GATES – Aaron Bradley Eure, 31, of 648 Willeyton Road, Gates, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017 in Hertford County as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident.

Aaron was born in Suffolk, VA on November 29, 1985.  A supervisor with Perdue Corp., he had served in the United States Marine Corps and saw duty in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Surviving are his daughters, Alivia Angel Eure and Aralyn Noel Eure, and their mother, Joan, of Suffolk, VA; his mother, Linda Schocklin and husband Howard of Suffolk, VA; his father, Dwight Eure and wife Karen of Gatesville; his brothers, Brock Eure and wife Heather of Prairieville, LA and Clay Eure and wife Anna of Roxobel; and his maternal grandmother, Margaret Eure of Gatesville.  Also surviving are extended family, step-brother, Chris Myers and wife Pam, and step-sister, Monica Britt and husband Greg, all of Gates; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 23 at 2:00 p.m. in Eure Christian Church and will be conducted by Pastors Wade Bennett and Kyle Truman. Immediately following the service there will be a time for visitation with the family in the church social hall, and all other times they may be joined at the home of his father, 905 Court Street, Gatesville. A private inurnment for the immediate family will be in the Umphlett Family Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to any chapter of the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org), an organization dear to their hearts because of the many family members who have bravely fought the disease.
