AHOSKIE – Luther Rankins, Jr., 68, of Ahoskie, a native of Bertie County, died Monday, January 30, 2017 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Albert G. Horton Veteran Cemetery, Suffolk, VA.  Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
