WOODLAND – Archie Lee “Al” Morris, Jr., 58, died Thursday, December 27, 2012.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Sunnyside Cemetery in Scotland Neck.  The Reverend Marcus Pond will be presiding.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.

Al was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Lee Morris, Sr. and Janie Elizabeth Anderson Morris; and his brother, James Lee Morris.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela M. Chandler and husband, Brent, of Nashville; his son, Matt Morris of Greenville; his sisters, Ellen Williams and husband, Archer, of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Kathy Roberson of Williamston; and his granddaughter, Abigail Chandler.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Woodland Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 297, Woodland, NC 27897.
