HARRELLSVILLE – Mrs. Betty Everette Perry, age 73, died at her home in Harrellsville on Tuesday, December 11, 2012.

Mrs. Perry is a native of Hertford County and was born February 4, 1939 to the late Mary Mitchell Everette and Aumack Leroy Everette.  She was married to the late Edwin Cola Perry and to this marriage was born four girls.  She was a homemaker all her life and enjoyed her family, cooking, sewing, canning and fishing at the beach.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Kathryn P. Hill and husband, Ashley, or Rocky Mount, Karen P. Woodard and husband, Glenn, of Ahoskie, Sandra P. Dougherty of Thomasville, and Cynthia E. Perry of Grifton; and one grandchild, Michael Cola.

A graveside service will be held, Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Harrellsville Cemetery with the Rev. Marcus Pond officiating.

The family will receive friends at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service in Ahoskie on Friday evening, December 14, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
