Lance Kristopher Watford, 19, a native of Bertie County, died September 20, 2008 at his residence.
Watford was a member of Goddard Disciple of Christ Church, Jamesville, and
2007 graduate of Bertie High School and a freshman at Pitt Community College.
Survivors include his parents, Franzine Holley Lawrence and Roscoe Lawrence of Williamston; his father, Johnnie Watford of Colerain; sisters, Leslie Watford, Amelia Holley and Crystal Lawrence, all of Williamston; his brothers, Benjamin Lawrence of Robersonville, Antonio Spell of Greenville and Terrance Holley of Winston-Salem; his grandfather, James Wilson of Newport News, Va.; and his great-grandfather, George Lee Holley of Colerain.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bertie High School gymnasium, Windsor, by Elder Melvin Bunch. Burial will be the Wilson family cemetery, Dilday Road, Colerain. Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Aulander, is in charge.
