Charles Edgar Hoggard, 69, of New Road, Colerain, died Monday, November 24, 2008 at his home.
Hoggard was a Bertie County native.
He was retired from the Coca Cola Company.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lynn Mizelle Hoggard of the home; two sons, David Hoggard of Lewiston and Andy Hoggard of Follansbee, WV; four sisters, Catherine H. Mizelle of Winterville, Lula Mae Hall of Lewiston, Jean Robbins of Rich Square and Frances Dunlow of Askewville; one brother, Thomas Hoggard of Lewiston; and two grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27 at Edgewood Cemetery with the Rev. Preston Jernigan officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and at other times at the home.
