Hazel Mitchell Lane of Ahoskie died Wednesday, January 14 at her residence.
She was a member of Church of God in Christ, Ahoskie.
Survivors include three sons, Henry Mitchell of Ahoskie, Rideman Lane of Franklin, VA and Sherman Lane of Virginia Beach, VA; a daughter, Sandra Lane of Ahoskie; five brothers, Grady Mitchell of Colerain, Winston Mitchell of Powellsville, Jimmy Mitchell and Earl C. Mitchell, both of Ahoskie, and Bobby Mitchell of Bronx, NY; one sister, Brenda Mitchell of Ahoskie; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17 at the Carpenter’s Shop, Ahoskie, with Bishop Ed Smith officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Reynolds Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
