Rebecca Futrell Martinette, 67, of the 200 block of North Dale Avenue, went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2009.
A native of Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Jesse G. and Virginia McLane Futrell. She worked as a nursing assistant at Virginia Beach General Hospital and was a former member of Rock Church in Virginia Beach.
She is survived by her two sons, Cecil “Buddy” Martinette, Jr. and his wife, Sarah who reside in Wilmington, NC and Brian Martinette and his wife, Jill of Laguna Hills, CA; a granddaughter, Brittany Windle; a grandson, Ryan Martinette and his wife, Joanna; a great-granddaughter, Madison Gray Martinette; a great-grandson, Mason Brian Windle; a sister, Doris F. Greaner; a nephew, John Greaner and his wife, Kerri and their children, Ashley and Jesse.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach with Rev. Wayne Harrison officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel.
