Lewis Perry of Merry Hill died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Martin General Hospital, Williamston.
He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Colerain.
Survivors include his wife, Maggie Leary Bell of Merry Hill; a daughter, Bessie Gaskins of Merry Hill; a brother, Daniel Perry of Colerain; a sister, Allie Pearl Perry of Colerain; 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Nathaniel Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Reynolds Funeral Home Inc., Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
