Clarine F. Lassiter, 82, a native of Hertford County, died Monday, April 13, 2009 at The Laurel of Forest Glene, Raleigh.
Survivors include two daughters, Ada Lassiter of Garner and Ella Mebane of Angier; three sisters, Agnes Saunders of New York, NY, Josephine Simmons of Bronx, NY and Millie Powell of Murfreesboro; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, April 18 at New Haven Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, with the Rev. Lloyd Gatling officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, are in charge of the arrangements.
