Clyde Johnson

Clyde Fenton “Pill” Johnson, 92, of Conway died Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Southampton Memorial Hospital in Franklin, VA.
He was retired from the North Carolina Dept. of Corrections. He was a Mason and a member of the Pendleton Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his son, Woody Johnson of Conway; two sisters, Hazel Johnson Pope of Boykins, VA and Margie Johnson Burgess of Roanoke Rapids; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 21 at
Galatia Baptist Church with the Rev. David Foster officiating. Burial will follow at the Johnson Family Cemetery.
