Mary Wynn Speight, 84, of Harrellsville died Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.
Survivors include a brother, Lemuel Wynn of Colerain; two sisters, Barbara J. Watson and Janie W. Walker, both of Brooklyn, NY; four sons, Wayne Speight and Woodrow Speight, both of Brooklyn, NY, Freddy J. Speight of Ahoskie and Ronald W. Speight of Cofield; a daughter, Cynthia Speight of Harrellsville; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29 at the Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Harrellsville, with the Rev. Robert Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
