Roy Wynn Sheffield, 56, a resident of Waverly, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009.
He was a native of Sussex County, Va.
Survivors include his children, Dale Pope, Ellen Britton, Sherman Pope, Rita Pope McPherson and Jennifer Jenkins; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Tony, Clarence and Sammy Sheffield; and a sister, Mary Harless.
