L.C. Hall Jr., 66, died Saturday, June 27, 2009 at his son’s home in Chester, VA after a lengthy illness.
A native of Bertie County, he was retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation, working in Bridge Maintenance. His memberships included the Conway-Severn Rescue Squad and the Conway Ruritan Club.
Survivors include one son, Carl Hall of Chester, VA; and a sister, Pauline Hurdle of Aulander.
A graveside service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30 in the Town of Conway Cemetery with the Rev. Willie McLawhorn presiding.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or to the American Cancer Society.
Bridgers Funeral Home Inc, Conway, is in charge of the arrangements.
