Action continues at Tar Heel District 7 Baseball tourney

AHOSKIE – The 2024 Tar Heel District 7 Baseball Tournament continues this week at the Ahoskie Creek ballparks and the baseball field at Hertford County High School.

The tournament is double elimination.

Scores from Monday’s (July 8) games are as follows:


Dare County 8, Cashie 7

Elizabeth City 16, Perquimans 0

OBX 13, Perquimans 2



Dare County 15, Pocosin 3

Cape Hatteras 10, Ahoskie 0



Camden 3, Ahoskie 2

Dare County 9, Edenton-Chowan 3



Edenton 10, Currituck 4

Pocosin 11, Camden 1

Today’s (Tuesday, July 9) games are as follows:


5:30 pm Cashie vs. Edenton-Chowan

6:30 pm Dare County vs Elizabeth City

7:30 pm OBX vs. Cashie/Edenton-Chowan winner



5:30 pm Cashie vs. Elizabeth City

7:30 pm Tyrrell County vs. Camden



5:30 pm Elizabeth City vs. OBX

7:30 pm Dare County vs. E. City / OBX loser



5:30 pm Camden vs. Tyrrell

7:30 pm Currituck vs. Cashie

All 8U, 10U and 12U games are being played at the Ahoskie Creek ballparks, located on West Memorial Drive. Follow the signs for parking.

The 15U portion of the District tournament is being held at the Hertford County High School baseball field.

Concessions will be offered for purchase throughout the tournament.
