RALEIGH – Augustus Cherry, 84, of Raleigh, formerly of Bertie County, died Sunday, December 31, 2023 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Chapel of Wilder’s Funeral Home, Rich Square, which is handling the arrangements. Burial will follow in Wilder-Cherry Family Cemetery, Aulander.
