COLERAIN – Nita Parker Brown passed away December 2nd, 2023, with her family by her side in the home where she lived for over 70 years. She was a lovely soul treasured by many. The world is a better place because of her.

Nita was known for her gentle spirit, grace, and genuine kindness. She was the last of her generation in both her family and her husband’s family. She was loved by many nieces and nephews. She was a caretaker for many during her life.

Her spirit lives on in her family who strive to honor her example and continue her legacy.

Special thanks to her caregiver, Kiyomi Lewis and to special neighbors, Dee and Roy Worrells and Jay and Loretta Smith.
