SMITHFIELD, VA – Calvin Ray Riddick, 88, of Smithfield, VA, formerly of Gates County, died Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Northern Cardinal Rehabilitation and Nursing, Suffolk, VA. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Up River Cemetery, Belvidere. Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral and Cremation Providers, Hertford, is handling the arrangements.
