WINDSOR – A Lewiston Woodville man stands charged with a drive-by shooting that occurred here earlier this month.

Nakwon Wiggins, age 20, was arrested Monday morning (Sept. 25) by the Bertie County Sheriff’s Office.

Wiggins was charged with discharging a weapon into occupied property, discharging a firearm in town, and injury to personal property.

After being processed, Wiggins was released after he satisfied a $20,000 secured bond. A court appearance is pending.

The Windsor Police Department was the investigating agency of the drive-by shooting that occurred Sept. 3 within the town limits. Their investigation found probable cause to obtain warrants for Wiggins’s arrest.
