AHOSKIE – Ridgecroft School blanked Pungo Christian Academy, 9-0, in girls tennis action on Sept. 7.

The Lady Rams won all six of the singles matches:

#1 Belle Turner defeated Katie Baxter (8-0)

#2 Kate Chamblee defeated Melanie Rutledge (8-1)

#3 Sydney Jones defeated Vaitlyn Williamson (8-3)

#4 Molly Brown defeated Reese Blackman (8-0)

#5 Karley Jo Rose defeated Reagan Spruill (8-2)

#6 Annie Batts defeated Julliette Pence (8-0)

Ridgecroft also swept the three doubles matches:

#1 Turner/Chamblee defeated Baxter/Williamson (8-3)

#2 Brown/Rose defeated Rutledge/Blackman (8-2)

#3 Jones / Avery Byrum defeated J. Pence/S. Pence (8-2)

With the win, Ridgecroft improved to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
