AHOSKIE – ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital will be offering free breast cancer screenings for women 40 years of age and older with at least one year since their last mammogram.

The event will take place from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, July 22 at the hospital, located at 500 South Academy Street in Ahoskie. The clinical breast exam is free and walk-ins are welcome, but registration is strongly encouraged due to limited space.

Screening includes a clinical breast exam. If a mammogram is needed, a 3D mammogram can be performed on-site, same day and will be billed to the participants insurance.

Assistance options will be available for underinsured/uninsured participants.
