Students from Hertford County Public Schools showcased their remarkable athletic prowess at the state track meet held May 20.
The HCPS relay team comprising Jada Lloyd, Cashmere Cooper, Lacora Moore, Jamiyah Valentine, and Gabrella Hayes secured an impressive fourth-place finish, bringing pride and recognition to their school and community.

Furthermore, the HCPS team also celebrated the individual success of Jada Lloyd, who delivered an exceptional performance in the 100-meter race. Lloyd’s determination and talent led her to secure an outstanding fourth-place finish, solidifying her position among the state’s top sprinters.
