MURFREESBORO – The Chowan women’s tennis team picked up their fifth consecutive win despite the windy conditions here Wednesday afternoon in a 6-1 non-conference victory over Virginia Wesleyan.

The results from the doubles matches are as follows:

No. 1 – Maria Estinvil/Manuela Jimenez (CU) def. Alexa Brewster/Anna Rogers – 6-1

No. 2 – Selene Kentish/Sreshta Puducheri (CU) def. Christine Zalameda/Shannon Lewes – 6-2

No. 3 – Valentina Domenicone/Micayah Porter (CU) def. Sophia Bibbo/Maya Brown – 6-0
