WASHINGTON, DC – Mr. Warren Lashay Lassiter, 70, of Washington DC and a native of Hertford County, North Carolina passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022 while in the comfort of his home.

Warren was born on October 23, 1952 in St. John (Hertford County), North Carolina to the late Gurnie and Ophelia Anthoney Lassiter. He was educated in the Hertford County School System, graduating from C. S. Brown High School of Winton, North Carolina. He served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors include: one son, Larsha Lassiter of Laurinburg, North Carolina; six sisters, Delores Hawkins, Frances Boyce (Aubrey), Helen Cofield, Lorraine Roberson (Walter), Crystal Briggs and Phyllis L. Mason (Alphonza); a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

T.L. Faison’s Funeral Care, 301 Park Street, Seaboard has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel 1:30 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2022.
