FRANKLIN, VA – Linwood Stephenson Baker, 89, of Franklin, VA, a native of Bertie County and a U.S. Navy veteran during the Korean War, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at his residence. Funeral services, with full military honors, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, VA, who is handling the arrangements. Burial will be held at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA, at a later date.
