MURFREESBORO – Edgar Brinson Paul, age 90, passed away on July 27, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Paul was born in Beaufort County, NC, on December 5, 1931, a son of the late Edgar Ruel and Mary Elizabeth Cox Paul.

Besides his parents, Brinson was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Paul; father; brothers, Robert Carroll Paul, and Edwin Reid Paul; and sister/niece, Ruth Cox Sutton.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Barbara P. Beasley and husband, Roger of Seattle, WA; a son, David Paul of Dallas, TX; a brother, Donald Ross Paul of Austin, TX; three grandsons, Philip Beasley, Daniel Beasley, and Nate Paul; and three granddaughters, Jenna Paul, Emily Paul, and Abby Paul.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 31, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at Garrett-Sykes Memorial Chapel-Murfreesboro, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022, 2 p.m. at the Murfreesboro Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, NC, with Dr. Christopher White, officiating.
