AHOSKIE – Roanoke-Chowan Community College will host Career Fair 2022 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 19 in the Multipurpose Room on the college’s main campus.

Over 20 local businesses will conduct interviews and hire qualified applicants on site at this major career fair.

Local business/industry participants include Telamon Corporation, Choanoke Public Transportation Authority (CPTA), Northampton County Local Government, Metal Tech of Murfreesboro, Hertford County DSS, Professional Staffing Resolutions, Thompson Industrial Services, LLC, City of Franklin Police Department, Martin County DSS, Martin County Transit, NCWorks Hertford County, and State Employees Credit Union.

Other participants include Alfiniti, Inc., NCWorks Career Center, Women’s Corp of Ahoskie, National Guard, Vocational Rehabilitation, Roanoke Electric, ECU School of Dental Medicine, Bertie County Government, and Chowan University.

Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center, Services for the Blind, Severn Peanut Company, and others are scheduled to participate.

A professional attire ‘closet’ (donations) will be available for applicants in need of business clothes to wear for interviews.

Career Fair 2022 is co-hosted by R-CCC and Hertford County Economic Development and is open to the public. Door prizes and other resources available.
