AHOSKIE – Ahoskie Legion Post 102 Redbirds Junior and Senior baseball tryouts will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday April 9 and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 10 at the Hertford County High School baseball field.

Junior age is 14-17 and Senior maximum age is 19; a player cannot turn 20 this calendar year.

Bryan Merrit (252) 287-7587 will be coaching the Senior team while David Ellis (252) 209-1103 and Jonathan Hobbs (252) 333-7866 will coach the Junior Team.

New players should bring a copy of their birth certificate or copy of their driver’s license.

There is no sign-up fee or other fees to play for Post 102.

Jerseys and hats are furnished. Players will only be asked to provide their own pants and sell (10) tickets to a meal fundraiser.
