VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Kay Frances Greene, age 86, formerly of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, in Knoxville, TN. She was born March 29, 1935, to the late Harvey Paul Greene and Olive Maie Greene Boone of Gates, NC.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2022. A Service of Inurnment will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Greene Family Cemetery on Gates Bank Road in Gates, followed by a Service of Worship and Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. at Kittrell’s United Methodist Church in Gates. The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kittrell’s United Methodist Church, 1046 NC Highway 37N, Gates, NC or to a charity of your choice.
