HARRELLSVILLE – Becky Liverman Crabtree, age 55, passed away suddenly on December 31, 2021 at the Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital of Ahoskie, NC.

Mrs. Crabtree was born in Edenton, Chowan County, NC on February 18, 1966, the daughter of C.J. and the late Christine Davenport Liverman. Becky was a graduate of Mars Hill College and Elizabeth City State University and was a schoolteacher for Washington County Public Schools. She had a passion for teaching and loved each child as if they were her own. Becky loved Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the Peanuts gang and was a collector of anything Charlie Brown. She loved to read and travel and enjoyed decorating her home for the holidays.

Becky is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Rev. James Jefferson “Jeff” Crabtree; her father, C. J. Liverman and wife, Starlyn Comstock Liverman; her brother, Curtis Liverman and wife, Kim and their son, Gavin of Greenville, NC; her step brother, Thomas Wall and wife, Varessa of Creswell, NC; nephews, Chris of Plymouth, Trey and Zachery of Williamston, NC, and Dylan of Pink Hill, NC; a niece, Gabrielle of Williamston, NC; and her beloved fur baby, Lily.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Harrellsville Baptist Church, Harrellsville, NC, with Rev. Anthony Clemmons officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall, and other times at the home.
